DMA Media has bought one of the continent’s leading news facilities companies – Brussels-based Headline NFP.
It means that DMA Media and our TheNewsMarket team now has a presence and facilities in the heart of Europe, significantly expanding our capability and the services we can offer to our broadcast, corporate and online clients.
Headline NFP has been a highly-respected and pioneering provider of studios, lives and video production in Brussels for more than 20 years – and has worked with most of the major global news brands, including BBC News, Euronews NBC, France Télévisions, RTE, three Scandinavian public broadcasters and China’s CCTV.
DMA Media can now provide expanded specialist support and technical consultancy, state-of-the-art studio facilities in Brussels and outside broadcast (OB) and satellite news gathering (SNG) vehicles across the continent.
Headline NFP will also offer its clients our expertise in channel launches and operations, online newsrooms, content distribution and media relations.
DMA Media’s Founder and Group CEO, Rob Beynon, said: “There’s nobody better at this than Headline. They have the technology, the inventiveness and the facilities to put companies and brands into the world of broadcast and digital media – live and reliably. The team of camera operators, editors, producers and engineers are world class – and they match DMA Media Group and TheNewsMarket for unrivalled client service and value for money. If a client wants to work with the biggest and best of international media and distribution, we now have the obvious one stop shop.”
Hans Deforce, Founder and CEO of Headline NFP, said: “This is a win-win for Headline and DMA Media Group. It means we can now use our expertise and resources for companies and brands all over Europe. Our team has been working at the very highest level for global broadcasters for many years, and our expert team delivers the full media package when it really matters – from right in the middle of the story. Whether it’s an event, a product launch or a CEO announcement, our teams can make it come to life – and deliver it to any broadcaster or digital stakeholder, in the highest quality in real time.”
Headline NFP has studios and live positions a stone’s throw from the EU Parliament and Commission headquarters, and its coverage is linked by a unique fiber network that allows clients to preview and select from among dozens of live locations. It’s expected to add its other new studios to the network, providing ‘pop-up news channel’ capability at a fraction of the cost and complexity of traditional broadcast suppliers.
